| January 08/09 | Kanye To Judge Design Awards | 
| Kanye West will be the only musician judge for this years annual Design Awards. Yeezy will join a panel of international designers from France, Britain, Italy and Autralia, through a deal with Wallpaper magazine. Kanye has expressed interest in architectur and fashion in the past, once even stating he wanted to become an intern at Louis Vuitton in order to help with his upcoming Pastelle clothing line.
In related news, Kanye West was also nominated for an award at this year's NAACP Image awards. The Louis Vuitton Don had his "808s & Heartbreak" album noimated for the "outstanding album" award.

| Charles Hamilton will share the January/February issue of Fader with UK pop artist Little Boots. Sonic The Hamilton will be featured on the annual NOW issue of Fader where they highlight the artists they will be listening to the most in the new year. Fader says its "all about the flash and shine of Harlem delight Charles Hamilton and London glitteratess  Little Boots."
The FADER 59 issue hits newsstands and your doorstep in a few days and will be posted on their website Tuesday, January 13th.

| Kanye West will cover next month's cover of Vibe Magazine. In the February issue, Kanye talks about his recent run-in's with the paparazzi and people suggesting he was violent saying “I  haven’t done anything violent. They make it seem like I actually went and hit the paparazzi. I haven’t. I was restrained. I’m good at restraining myself from committing violent acts. I know how to control my temper. That one paparazzo made it a bigger deal. I just put my hand up and he felt like he had more right to my personal space than I did. I put my hand up to stop him from shooting me.”

| Biggie's mom is upset over the relationship Notorious had with Lil Kim. In a recent interview, Mrs Wallace is upset at how BIG treated Kim saying “I would love to speak to Lil’ Kim, because I need to ask more about this love relationship because I really didn’t like the way he treated her and I’m praying that that’s not it,” she continued. “Only she can answer those questions. She’s a sweet girl and I didn’t think she deserved to be treated the way he treated her, if that’s the case.”
Lil Kim recently announced she didn't approve of the way she was portrayed in the new "Notorious" film. Talking about Big's mom and Faith Evans, Kim said “I’m very disappointed in Faith,” she added. “There’s nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin’ B.I.G. all day. I’m gonna always do that … It’s time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed.” Notorious hits theatres tomorrow (1/9).
 In related news, last night was the New York premiere of "Notorious." Showing up on the red carpet were Diddy, DJ Clue, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Q-Tip, Maino, Ciara, Cassie, Lola Luv, Ice T & Coco, Biggie's Son CJ, Faith Evans, DJ Cassidy, Mary J Blige, Biggie's Mom, Irv Gotti & Ja Rule and Busta Rhymes.
